American Gulags

 AMERICAN GULAGS

The Emperor says

            We need more prisons.

Not for convicted felons like him,

                                                Or his ilk,

But for brown-skinned people,

Those who

            Work hard

                        And play by the rules.

But they're brown-skinned people.

We already have gulags aplenty for them,

            Spread across America

                        Like constellations,

            Or an archipelago.

We've even been sending them down to

            Guantanamo Bay,

                        In Cuba.

            Shipping them off

                        To a max gulag

            Down in El Salvador.

But that's not enough.

            There may be riots in the cities

                        When the going gets tough.

So we're reopening Alcatraz.

            We're building private prisons.

We're even building an Alligator Alcatraz

            Down in the Florida swamps.

                        But we may need more

            When the going gets tough.
